• day 01 Marrakech → Boumalne Dades
  • Early morning departure from Marrakech
  • Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with stunning mountain views
  • Possible stop at Telouet to visit the ksar (the old kasbah of Pasha Glaoui)
  • Lunch break in Ouarzazate, the “gateway to the desert”: optional visit to film studios
  • Continue to the Valley of the Roses, especially beautiful in spring (April-May)
  • Arrival in Boumalne Dades, the entrance to the Dades Valley
  • Walk through the valley: impressive rock formations, traditional kasbahs
  • Overnight in a typical hotel or villa
• day 02 Boumalne Dades → Merzouga
  • Breakfast and early departure
  • Drive to the Todra Valley: stop for a walk in the Todra Gorge, with impressive cliffs up to 300m high, great photo and easy hike spot
  • Continue to Erfoud, a small oasis town famous for fossils
  • Possible visit to a date cooperative or fossil workshop
  • Arrival in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara Desert
  • Camel ride at sunset to a Berber camp in the dunes (Erg Chebbi)
  • Traditional dinner around the fire, overnight in a Berber tent or villa depending on comfort choice
• day 03 Merzouga → Marrakech
  • Sunrise over the dunes, a magical moment not to be missed
  • Camel ride back to Merzouga
  • Departure to Marrakech via Rissani and Alnif
  • Possible stop in Alnif, a small mountain and oasis village
  • Arrival in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara Desert
  • Long drive back to Marrakech, with lunch break in Ouarzazate or another place depending on timing
  • Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon or evening
