Tour Plan

• day 01 M’hamid → Sidi Naji
  • Early morning departure from the gateway of the desert with your camel caravan
  • Begin your trek across vast desert landscapes
  • Stop for a picnic lunch and short rest
  • Continue walking through the desert towards Sidi Naji, a sacred site known for its ancient Marabout (shrine)
  • Camp set up at day’s end for an overnight stay under the stars or in nomadic tents
• day 02Sidi Naji → Erg Ez-Zahar
  • After breakfast, continue the trek across a Hamada (rocky desert)
  • Pass through acacia groves as you approach Erg Ez-Zahar, one of Morocco’s highest and most majestic dunes
  • Set up camp at the foot of the “Screaming Dune” and enjoy the silence of the Sahara
  • Dinner and overnight in tents or under the stars
• day 03Erg Ez-Zahar → Erg Smar
  • Morning departure from Ez-Zahar
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch under tamarisk trees in the middle of the desert
  • Arrive at Erg Smar, a peaceful dune area far from civilization
  • Set up camp and enjoy the quiet ambiance of the Sahara night
• day 04Erg Smar → Ait Ounir
  • Trek through small dunes and open ergs
  • Reach the remote region of Ait Ounir, surrounded by golden sand
  • Set up camp and experience the silence and beauty of untouched desert
• day 05Ait Ounir → Erg Douib
  • After breakfast, continue across desert plains and scenic landscapes
  • Reach Erg Douib (Oued Austria) by late afternoon
  • Settle in for a magical night under a clear, starry sky
• day 06Erg Douib → M’hamid
  • Final day of the journey as the caravan returns to M’hamid
  • Feel the rhythm of the desert one last time as the soft footsteps in the sand sing farewell
  • Arrival in M’hamid by late afternoon — Goodbye, desert!
