• day 01 Ouarzazate → Draa Valley → Zagora → Tamegroute → M’hamid
  • Depart from Ouarzazate in the morning
  • Journey through the scenic Draa Valley, with:

  • Family gardens nestled in the desert landscape
  • Lunch at a typical inn along the way
  • Continue to Zagora, then visit:
  • The pottery workshops and kilns in Tamegroute
  • The Koranic library (for those interested in ancient manuscripts)
  • Proceed to M’hamid, gateway to the Sahara
  • Arrive in the late afternoon
  • Settle into a fixed desert camp, 8 km from the village
  • Enjoy the sunset over the dunes
  • Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional bivouac tent
• day 02 M’hamid → Sacred Oasis → Erg Chegaga
  • After breakfast, depart from M’hamid towards the Erg Chegaga dunes
  • Stop for lunch at the Sacred Oasis
  • Continue through stunning desert landscapes
  • Arrive at Erg Chegaga in the late afternoon
  • Climb the highest dune
  • Watch the sunset over the sea of sand
  • Dinner and overnight at the Chegaga desert camp
• day 03 Erg Chegaga → Lake Iriqui → Foum Zguid → Taznakht → Ouarzazate
  • Breakfast at the camp
  • Enjoy a 1-hour camel ride in the dunes
  • Depart by 4×4 through:
  • The vast Lake Iriqui (dry lakebed)
  • The rocky terrain of the Hamada desert
  • Arrive at Foum Zguid for lunch
  • Continue to Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets
  • Return to Ouarzazate in the late afternoon
