Tour Plan

• day 01Marrakech → Agdez
  • Morning departure from Marrakech.
  • Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m).
  • Optional visit to Aït Benhaddou Kasbah (UNESCO site).
  • Continue through Ouarzazate to Agdez, gateway to the Draa Valley.
  • Overnight in kasbah-style riad/hotel in Agdez.
• day 02 Agdez → Chegaga
  • Drive through the lush Draa Valley, lined with kasbahs and palm groves.
  • Pass through Zagora and arrive in M’hamid (last village before the desert).
  • Lunch in M’hamid or on the way.
  • 4x4 off-road adventure (2–3 hrs) via oases and desert plateau.
  • Arrive at Erg Chegaga dunes in the afternoon.
  • Camel ride + sunset.
  • Dinner & overnight in a desert camp under the stars.
• day 03 Chegaga → Taroudant
  • Sunrise over the dunes, breakfast in camp.
  • Cross the wild desert via Lake Iriqui to reach Foum Zguid.
  • Continue to Taznakht (famous for Berber carpets).
  • Drive across the Anti-Atlas to Taroudant (often called the “Little Marrakech”).
  • Evening stroll through Taroudant’s medina.
  • Overnight in riad/hotel.
• day 04Taroudant → Essaouira
  • Breakfast, then drive west to the Atlantic coast.
  • Pass by Agadir (possible lunch stop or seaside walk).
  • Continue along the scenic coastal road lined with argan trees (sometimes goats climbing them!).
  • Arrive in Essaouira, charming coastal town with Portuguese ramparts and fishing port.
  • Overnight in a riad inside the medina.
• day 05Essaouira → Marrakech
  • Morning free to explore Essaouira: medina, souks, Skala fortifications, and beach.
  • Lunch by the port (fresh seafood).
  • Afternoon drive back to Marrakech (about 3 hrs).
  • Arrival in Marrakech by evening, end of tour.
