Tour Plan

• day 01 Marrakech → Taznakht → Foum Zguid → Chegaga Dunes
  • Early morning departure from Marrakech.
  • Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m).
  • Drive through Taznakht, famous for Berber carpets.
  • Lunch stop en route or in Foum Zguid (last town before the desert).
  • Off-road track via the dry Lake Iriqui and desert plateau.
  • Arrival at Erg Chegaga dunes in the late afternoon.
  • Camel ride and sunset over the dunes.
  • Overnight in a desert camp (dinner + campfire under the stars).
• day 02 Chegaga → M’hamid → Ouarzazate
  • Sunrise over the dunes + breakfast at camp.
  • 4x4 drive (2–3 hrs) across desert trails to M’hamid.
  • Continue through Zagora and the beautiful Draa Valley, with its endless palm groves and ancient kasbahs.
  • Stop for photos and lunch along the way.
  • Evening arrival in Ouarzazate, check-in to hotel/riad.
  • Overnight in Ouarzazate.
• day 03 Ouarzazate → Marrakech
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Visit Taourirt Kasbah (optional) or the Cinema Studios in Ouarzazate.
  • Lunch on the way.
  • Cross back through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka.
  • Arrival in Marrakech late afternoon/evening.
