Tour Plan

• day 01 Marrakech → Agdez
  • Morning departure from Marrakech.
  • Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m).
  • Stop at panoramic viewpoints and Berber villages.
  • Optional visit at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah (UNESCO site).
  • Continue to Ouarzazate for a short visit (Kasbah Taourirt or Cinema Studios).
  • Drive through the Draa Valley, famous for palm groves and kasbahs.
  • Overnight in Agdez (hotel/riad/kasbah).
• day 02 Agdez → Chegaga Desert
  • Breakfast and departure southwards.
  • Pass through Zagora and continue to M’hamid, the gateway to the Sahara.
  • Lunch in M’hamid or en route.
  • Begin the off-road track (about 2–3 hours) across the desert via oases and hamadas.
  • Arrive at Erg Chegaga dunes in the afternoon.
  • Camel ride & sunset on the dunes.
  • Overnight in a desert camp (standard or luxury).
• day 03 Chegaga Desert → Marrakech
  • Sunrise in the dunes + breakfast.
  • Off-road drive via the dry Lake Iriqui and rocky desert to Foum Zguid.
  • Lunch stop in Taznakht (Berber carpet town).
  • Scenic return drive across the High Atlas Mountains.
